Governing of the Mind
Happiness comes from diligence, virtue from
humbleness, while wisdom is obtained through calm
thinking. Passion breeds anxiety. Disaster comes
from greed. Sin and crime sprout from impatience.
Fault comes from your own flippancy. Be careful in
what you seek. Do not judge others too hastily or
critically by their actions. Always see the
positive and fruitful side of an experience. Take
care in what you say about others. Do not speak ill
of someone or speak too quickly without thought and
consideration. Choose friends well, in that we are
all affected by our peers. Respect the elderly and
follow the path of the virtuous man. Allows follow
a virtuous leader.
Do not be afraid of an upcoming opportunity and do
not hold on when its usefulness is spent. Do not
expect respect from others when others are not
treated with respect. Have a true picture of
oneself. Over confidence invites disaster. Do not
hurt others with actions, for these deeds may be
returned in the future. Control anger with mildness
of mind, and defeat evil with good. Refrain from
selfishness through service, and destroy lies with
the light of truth. Finally, be a good strong
person with a true sense of beliefs and with
excellent physical conditioning.
Always remember this and apply it into your life.
It will be vital to the success of your life!
